Take That was started in 1989 by Nigel Martin-Smith, who wanted to set up a band based around the solo material of Gary Barlow. The release of Everything Changes in 1993 spawned hit singles "Pray", "Relight My Fire" and "Babe", quickly propelled the group into superstardom. They embarked on their first world tour in 1995, the same year of the release of their third studio album Nobody Else, however Robbie Williams’ departure in the same year, left the band disjointed. So in 1996, after much speculation, Take That finally broke up, releasing a greatest hits album that even included the Bee Gees cover "How Deep is Your Love".
In November 2005, the group reformed without Robbie Williams releasing single "Today I’ve Lost You". The song was originally meant to be a follow up to their hit "Back for Good", however circumstances as they were the song was shelved. As you can imagine, A large tour of the UK and Ireland soon followed, and as luck would have it Take That once again signed a multimillion record deal with Polydor, seeing to the release of 2006 album Beautiful World. The present members are Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – a line-up that do not disappoint whenever they perform live.
