''¡Viva el Betis mal que pierda!'' Be sure to secure your Betis tickets today and cheer for Los Verdiblancos in the grand Benito Villamarín! Based in Seville, Real Betis was founded in 1907 by students of the local Polytecnic Academy. They won their first Segunda Division title in 1932, making them the first club ever from Andalusia to play in La Liga. In 1935, Betis secured their first and only La Liga title, beating Madrid FC by one point.

After an era referred to as the "Darkest Period" that saw the club routinely sell out their ground in spite of playing in Spain's third division, Real Betis returned to the top flight in 1958, in large part due to the goal-scoring prowess of club legend Luis del Sol. Del Sol made 101 appearances for the club and scored 27 goals from 1953-59, while also earning 16 caps for the Spanish national side and scoring three times.

Betis celebrated their centenary in 2007. On top of their one La Liga title, Real Betis have also won the Copa Del Rey twice in 1977 and 2005. Their win in '77 game off of a famous 21 round penalty shootout after extra time. Betis are now La Liga fixtures based in part off of the form of current player Ruben Castro, who has netted over 100 goals for the side. Don't delay! Be sure to grab your tickets to see Real Betis play all of Spain's great sides today!
