Interestingly, Radin never intended to be a musician, instead, his main passion was art and drawing. Thankfully for us, Joshua Radin gave singing and songwriting a shot and played one of his first compositions "Winter" to his friend Zach Braff (the actor famous for Scrubs). This song eventually featured on an episode of Scrubs and fans began to request even more of Joshua Radin's music, therefore he decided to pursue a career as a musician. Radin began playing at open mics and eventually signed with Columbia records and released his debut album We Were Here in 2006.
