Power Station Concert & Tour Dates
A rock duo from Taiwan, Power Station has been around since 1997 and is one of Asia's most loved bands. Though they look like a Western rock duo, with Yu's studious looks a contrast to the long-haired Yen, Power Station aren't restricted to playing typical rock anthems. They are just as well-known for their lively ballads. Power Station tickets give fans the chance to see why they are still one of the most enduring rock bands in Asia. With upcoming concerts in Singapore and Taipei, and more to be announced, don't miss out on this opportunity to sing along to the band's impressive repertoire of hits. In fact, a Power Station concert is often like an endless Karaoke session as the crowd belts out their hits alongside Yu and Yen. Join in the fun and buy Power Station tickets here at Ticketbis.
Power Station Background
Yu Chiu-hsin and Yen Chih-lin formed the band in 1997 after both had been in Virgin Choir and Prominent Position together. Since then Power Station has emerged as one of the most popular Asian rock acts, and the duo have regularly toured Asia and the rest of the world. The duo's first album came out in 2001, and had the curious title of Walking Along Jhonghsiao East Street Nine Times. "Takie Tango" from that album was especially well received and earned an award for Best Mandarin Song. While the theme song for the My Fair Princess TV series was also an early Power Station song. Also known as Dong Li Huo Che, Power Station sing most of their songs in Mandarin, yet this hasn't stopped their fanbase from continuing to grow. Demand for Power Station tickets will be high, but, on the evidence of their career so far, seeing them live will live long in the memory.
